FEMA Region II is seeking applicants for the Regional Youth Preparedness Council.

The council was created to bring young people together to support disaster preparedness and make a difference in their communities.

Interested individuals ages 14-17 who want to make a difference in their community, who have engaged in disaster preparedness, or have lived through a disaster and want to share their experiences should apply.

The application is now available online at: https://www.fema.gov/media-library/assets/documents/168054 and will be open until August 31, 2019.
