St. Croix, VI – The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) is currently accepting curfew pass applications for the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season.
Curfew passes are provided to individuals and organizations requiring clearance to travel in public places when a curfew is declared by the Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands, as a result of disasters or other emergency events.
Curfew passes will be issued to individuals and businesses only to assess the facility’s condition, secure property and safety, and to conduct preparations to get the business back into operation.
- All curfew passes issued prior to January 1, 2019 are no longer valid.
- The deadline to submit curfew pass applications is August 31, 2019.
- Curfew passes issued during the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season are valid until December 31, 2020.
